Project Days
The Buck Saw

IMPORTANT NOTE: This ‘Home-School Event’ requires your child to be home educated. If your child is not home educated please chose a ‘Child Event’ from the events page.

Home School Bushcraft Project Day course

Bushcraft has many avenues of discovery to explore and this year we are introducing Bushcraft Odyssey Project Days. This will give your child the opportunity to take on some of the more advanced bushcraft projects that we don’t have time to do on the Bushcraft Odyssey courses. Project Days are complimentary to the Home School Bushcraft Odyssey courses. The skills and techniques required to complete the project will be easier for those who have already attended a Bushcraft Odyssey course.

Overview of the Project Day

A full day (10am – 4pm) focused on a specific project. With an extra 2 hours (compared to the Bushcraft Odyssey Course days) there will be more time to create something incredible out of nature.

Date:

29-07-2022

NOTE: Registration closes ‘3 days’ before the event and for the event to take place a minimum of 4 participants are required.

Project Day : THE BUCK SAW

When practicing bushcraft you will soon realise that a saw is one of the most useful items to have on you and so a folding pruning saw would be very useful. But what about if you wanted to cut bigger logs, process firewood or just want to cut through wood quicker and more efficiently? Well that is where the awesome Buck Saw comes in. On this special Project Day your child will be making a collapsible Buck Saw to take home with them. They will find it very useful on future Bushcraft Odyssey’s and you may even want to borrow it once they’ve made one too as it is a great tool.

The TRIBE HONOURS programme

TRIBE HONOURS is included in this event, please click here for more information. A one-off sign-up is required.

Additional Information

Spending time in the woods is made even more enjoyable at TRIBE by our bright & airy on-site compost toilets, foot-operated hand washing facilities, and covered fire circle with plenty of seating.

The TRIBE BUSHCRAFT ODYSSEY course is child-only, giving you a few hours of golden time to catch up with life or just relax. Therefore, if you feel that your child would not be able to attend unaccompanied, it may be worth considering attending one of our weekly Family Bushcraft events, running each Saturday morning and afternoon , otherwise please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Don’t forget to Like Us on Facebook to keep up to date with new events, offers and opportunities.

We are a COVID19-Secure venue and by booking our events you agree to complete the Consent Form and ensure that our COVID safety rules are adhered to.
